Database/Web Developer

Responsibilities:

  • Create and support existing SSRS projects
  • Create and support existing SSIS projects
  • Create and support existing ETL processes
  • Create and support exiting web pages, windows applications, data bases, tables, queries, store procedures, and triggers.
  • Ensure adherence to architecture/security standards

Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to pay close attention to details
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Access
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2005-2012/TSQL scripting
  • Some knowledge of ODBC
  • Some knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
  • Some/Good knowledge of SQL Integration Services (SSIS)
  • Exposure to Microsoft Visual Studio 2008-2012
  • Exposure to .Net languages is a plus
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in the Student Loan Industry is a plus

RISLA also offers students and parents free educational admissions and financial aid assistance through the College Planning Center of Rhode Island and financial literacy guidance at high schools and colleges throughout the State of Rhode Island.
